Acer Liquid E $79.99 On Rogers Instead?
About a week ago, we reported on early pricing and availability details for the Acer Liquid E heading to Rogers Wireless in Canada. For a 3-year commitment, it was believed that you could have the phone for just $49.99 ($349.99 off contract).
MobileSyrup reports that one retailer’s (we’re not sure whose) inventory system actually shows the phone for $79.99 on contract. There are a few possibilities here. The early report was wrong, or the $49.99 we heard of before might be a special introductory promotion (mail-in rebate, instant discount, etc). There haven’t been any more details regarding the screen we saw, but we’re hoping to find out more very soon.
