Garmin-Asus Announces The Walker-Focused Nuvifone A10

Garmin-Asus isn’t finished bringing more Android devices for you turn-by-turn junkies out there. Today, they’ve announced the existence of the Garmin-Asus Nuvifone A10 – a phone aimed for the pedestrian that still needs to find their way around. Running on Android, it’ll bring comprehensive maps and turn-by-turn directions on a 3.2-inch WVGA multi-touch enabled touchscreen.

The phone will also have an electric compass, as expected, and maps will be preloaded onto the device (presumably based on which country you buy the phone in).  The phone will come with an Audio Mount for those of you that wants to use this in their car – a welcome addition that I’m sure will sweeten the deal for many of you out there.

Garmin-Asus’ A10 should be here sometime mid-2010 and will be available to those in Europe and Asia-Pacific. Take a gander at the full press details over at the Garmin blog.
