The Samsung Behold 2 was launched quite awhile ago (2009)… and not exactly to overwhelming positive fanfare. For some reason the manufacturer thinks now would be a good time to promote their T-Mobile Android Phone, publishing a commercial/promo that might be too little too late:
Two part question: How do you like the commercial and how do you like the phone? Samsung hasn’t exactly been one of the “premiere” Android manufacturers thus far, possibly because they’re more focused on Bada, but all it takes is one impressive phone to change the tide and I’m sure Sammy has it in them.

I can’t believe that they’re trying to hype an old phone. All that money could’ve been spent on a cooler, newer phone. :(
Samsung has been lackadaisical and half-hearted in their attitude towards Android no wonder their sales for the Behold 2 has been very disappointing-what were they expecting.
Verizon were no fools when they plunged millions into promoting the Droid. And it did pay in the end.
Wake up samsung.
I think the commercial is fine, but yeah – too little too late. The phone itself is a great piece of hardware, but Samsung’s TouchWiz bastardization of Android is a nightmare. If they either re-do it and update to 2.x, or release an official version of the stock OS (even 1.5!), this would be a hell of a phone.
Awesome Camera – Check
Awqesome AMOLED screen – Check
Awesome Music player w/album cover flow – Check
Awesome hardware specs – Check
Intuitive UI – FAIL
Take the touchwiz gimmickery off this phone and it’s a multimedia beast.
Throw GDE on that and it’s on fire!
why even try now ? It’s too late and with this update that was horrible executed by tmobile .Word has spread around the net how this phone touchwiz ui is terrible. why would samsung even push this commercial. They should have done a better job to promote the behold 2 the first couple of months of release. THERE is NO commercial that will help the behold 2 sell more units if samsung dosen’t work on their touchwiz first.I for one regret buying this phone .
I signed up way back when on the behold to website to be notified when it would come out….still waiting for any kind of news update –
this is more than a few days late, and a hundred bucks short
i use to have the original samsung behold, that phone was seriously lacking after a couple of months of having it.
it a hell of a camera though :)
STOP MAKEING SO MUCH COMERSHALS I MEAN ITZ GOOD BUT,THE PHONE REALLY NEEDS A PURPSE FOR ITZ CUBE AND AND 2.1UPDATE AND IT WILL BE PERFECT!
