Its quick to insall, easy to play and an overall scoreboard is kept so you can constantly strive to become King Of The Mountain among all Android Gamers in the world. Pretty cool stuff!
Unfortunately the demo only allows you to score 1200 points before it freezes (purposefully). Thankfully, they clearly indicate in the market and the game that the demo has these restrictions and it costs $3 to purchase the full version. I attempted to purchase the game using the TXT Message version (text WEB to 23333) but got an error message back that this service wasn’t allowed by my service provider.
I called T-Mobile Customer Support to see if there was some type of Text Messaging Payment Authroization switch I needed flipped or something… but we came to the conclusion that it was just an error on the developer’s part. I called the 900 phone number too… no luck.
But SOMEBODY appears to be successfully buying the game… the high scores are WELL above 1200 which means that these folks have the full version. So if somebody can help me out with this I would be glad to buy the game, pummel your scores and you’ll see my name on the top of the chart as AndroidForums.com or phandroid.com – it will happen!
The funny thing is that this game is only rated 1.5 stars at the moment and the vast majority of comments absolutely diss the game to the Nth degree. If I could actually BUY the darn game I would definitely pay the $3 and probably give it 3.5 or 4 stars. Its a dumb game… but we all have our guilty pleasures. Helicopter was – and now Fishocopter will be – a really lame guilty pleasure.
