T-Mobile Sidekick 4G

Last updated: Mar 23rd, 2011.

T-Mobile is officially resurrecting the once mighty Sidekick brand with the help of Samsung and Android. The T-Mobile Sidekick 4G hopes to restore greatness to an iconic product line and based on the specs it seems like T-Mobile is on pace to accomplisht just that.

Sidekick 4G

Following tradition, the Sidekick 4G has a sexy form factor featuring a 3.5-inch screen that pops up at an angle to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard. Add a 1GHz processor running Android 2.2, rear and front-facing camera, special features like Group Text, pre-installed apps like Facebook/Twitter, and you've got a phone destined to regain its glory. And oh yeah... that "4G" tacked onto the name does indeed mean that it will be capable of blazing fast 4G speeds that drive intense multimedia capabilities.

The T-Mobile Sidekick 4G will be a powerful, affordable Android option that satisfies a massive amount of people who have desperately missed it's brief absence.
