Pantech Element Overview
The Pantech Element is an LTE tablet for AT&T headed for store shelves January 8th. Said to be coming for $300 on a two-year agreement, the device has an 8 inch display and boasts some pretty good internals including a 1.5GHz processor, a 5 megapixel 1080p HD camera, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, Android 3.2 and more.
While the name Pantech has often been synonymous with "affordable", the tablet features specs that would have us putting it near the top of the line even with a mid-range price.

Laptop Mag "The Pantech Element provides impressive 4G LTE speeds in a water-proof design, but the overall cost is a bit pricey."
Phone Arena "Moreover, it’s able to better differentiate itself thanks to its waterproof aspect, which should no doubt catch anyone’s attention, but it’s blatantly obvious that it’ll require more to stand equally with its peers."
