Pantech Burst Overview

The Pantech Burst is one of AT&T's first LTE devices. And while the manufacturer is not very well-known for quality products, they did a fairly good job with this one.

The device features a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3.5, a 4.0-inch display and 4G LTE connectivity. Customers might be happy to know that it is also very affordable compared to other devices in the market ($50 on contract, when released).

Pantech Burst Reviews

Engadget
"Don't let that bargain-basement price turn you off, though -- this thing's got plenty of mojo to back it up, which makes the Burst a stark contrast to its Verizon counterpart."
CNET
"What will $50 get you? If you said the Pantech Burst Android smartphone for AT&T, then quite a lot, actually."
Phone Dog
"To tell you the truth, I'm not entirely sure why or how the Pantech Burst is so inexpensive, except for maybe Pantech wants to be aggressive in establishing itself in the smartphone market."
Android Central
"The Burst is really a nice little phone.  But the other AT&T LTE handsets offer a little more in the way of customizations and features.  If you're going to sign-on for two years, you should get the best product available."
Android Police
"While the rest of the world looks to the next super-spectacular smartphone with the latest technology, Pantech has decided to keep it simple and cheap with the Burst."
Talk Android
"Since Pantech and AT&T announced their budget friendly device, the Pantech Burst, it’s literally been a buzz all over the Internet.  Why you say?"
Pocket Now
"To get your hands on a snappy processor, a Super AMOLED display, and the capability to access 4G LTE for AT&T, you'd usually have to pitch for a high-end smartphone, but the Burst came to change that."
PCWorld
"If you’re looking for an inexpensive LTE phone, the Pantech Burst is an excellent option--as long as you don't plan to use it as your primary camera."
PCMag
"The Pantech Burst is a good smartphone for users looking to tap into AT&T's 4G LTE network on a budget."
Laptop Mag
"The Pantech Burst combines fast 4G LTE speeds with a high-quality Super AMOLED display for a very good price."
Phone Arena
"Rather than letting the competition absorb the fruitful rewards associated with AT&T’s 4G LTE network, the Pantech Burst is exploding onto the scene in hopes of gaining some sort of visibility with its oh-so lovable on-contract price of $49.99."
