The Moto G was Motorola's first attempt at a low-end device for emerging markets. They packed a lot of great stuff into the Moto G, including stock Android and fast updates. The Moto G can be found for under $200, and it's an excellent device for the price.

Motorola planning Android Lollipop upgrade for 1st Gen Moto G soon

Motorola’s nearly gotten all their Moto X and Moto G 2014 folks hooked up with Android 5.0 Lollipop, and now the manufacturer is looking ahead to devices from last year. A recent update to Motorola’s Update Services app in Google Play lists preparations for Android Lollipop as one of the big changes in its latest update.

AT&T gets the 2013 Moto G with LTE starting October 10th

AT&T’s getting a new smartphone October 10th… except it’s not so new in the grand scheme of things. It’s 2013’s Moto G, only this one is tricked out with 4G LTE radios in case 3G just doesn’t do it for you anymore.
