We had heard before that the Motorola Devour would be available in “select channels” starting February 25th but weren’t exactly sure what that meant. Now we are. Best Buy Mobile has just issued a press release announcing the availability of the Motorola Devour on February 25th with the pre-order starting February 16th.

We’ve heard countless rumors and seen numerous photo leaks of the Motorola Devour – just yesterday we spotted the official promotional material that suggested an announcement and launch was imminent. Well… it has arrived.

Looks like the Motorola Droid Devour(Calgary, A555) that will be released on Verizon Wireless soon will be the first Android phone rocking the Qualcomm MSM7627 processor.

Like we just discussed, the Motorola Devour, previously the Motorola Calgary, will be launching for Verizon. Our guess  is sometime in Q1 and with new and improved Android 2.1. BGR reports one of their contacts has spotted it in a new and snazzy silver.
