Huawei MediaPad Overview

The Huawei MediaPad was one of the first devices the company built when transitioning to the high-end market. Not to mention that it was the first tablet to be announced with Android 3.2, Google's 7-inch tablet-friendly OS.

It sports a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, a 7-inch display, 1 GB of RAM and it has been updated to Android 4.0. In the US, the MediaPad is better known as the T-Mobile Springboard, which is Magenta's version of the tablet.

Huawei MediaPad Reviews

CNET
"The Huawei MediaPad has one of the better displays on a tablet, but its sluggish moments and high price give us pause."
GSMArena
"Huawei have been flexing their mobile manufacturing muscle lately and one of their latest creations, the 7" MediaPad Android tablet, is getting its high-res screen and aluminum unibody ready to take on the big boys."
Tech Radar
"It's a dinky little unit, measuring just 10.5mm at its thinnest point, and comes with a seven inch screen, joining the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and the BlackBerry Playbook at the more pocketable end of the tablet scale."
