HTC Rezound Reviews
Phandroid The HTC Rezound is the first phone in the United States to offer Beats Audio technology after HTC paid a large sum to acquire the maker of high-end headphones. While the enhanced sound quality is definitely the phone’s major selling point, HTC didn’t skimp on other hardware elements.
The Verge HTC's Rezound for Verizon is the very first of an onslaught of 720p phones to hit the US market. As you might expect, its price ($299) and the remainder of its long spec sheet are just as hefty as the display: 16GB of storage, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p capture, and naturally, LTE.
CNET While it may have a hefty build, the HTC Rezound's beautiful display, commendable performance, and multimedia-rich features make it a top phone for Verizon customers.
Engadget The Motorola RAZR and Samsung Galaxy Nexus seem to be the two Verizon LTE juggernauts enjoying the lion's share of the spotlight, with the HTC Rezound sandwiched smack dab between the two of them.
HTC Source The Droid RAZR and the Nexus Galaxy seemed to receive the most press of the those released; however, the HTC Rezound is no slouch of a phone.
Android Central Now, with this week's release of the HTC Rezound, Verizon has upped the ante even further with a powerhouse of a device that skimps not on the specs.
Android And Me The HTC Rezound is a powerhouse of a phone. While other devices in Verizon’s lineup might have garnered more attention, the Rezound (by the specs) is the best device currently available for Verizon.
PCWorld The HTC Rezound ($300 with a new two-year contract as of January 3, 2012) is one of the more capable devices released in the past year.
PCMag The HTC Rezound is an amazing Internet and multimedia machine that fits into your pocket, but it's a bulky piece of kit.
Phone Arena Continuing the trend of packing some ‘firsts’, mainly because it’s the first handset to release on US soil with a 720p display and Beats Audio support, the HTC Rezound is gunning to make its presence widely known as being HTC’s second-generation 4G LTE device.
Slash Gear Verizon isn’t stinting on 4G LTE smartphones, and hot on the heels of the DROID RAZR comes the HTC Rezound. Where Motorola chased slimness, HTC has targeted all-round top-flight features of the sort we’ve not really seen from the company in some time.
BGR Verizon Wireless has not one but three powerhouse 4G LTE smartphones lined up for the holidays, and the HTC Rezound is one of them.
Tech Radar The Rezound by HTC is first US handset to feature Dr. Dre's Beats Audio technology. That's probably what catches your eye first, but with its 720p HD display, super-fast 4G data, and speedy dual-core processor, the Rezound is certainly more than a one-hit wonder.
Pocket Now With an impressive 720p HD Super LCD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Beats Audio branded headset, and the speed of Verizon's 4G LTE network the HTC Rezound seems to have it all.
Gotta Be Mobile Beats Audio is way over-hyped, but despite that the Rezound is a great smartphone. It offers robust and speedy performance, good call quality and a camera that won’t embarrass. It can’t boast a razor-thin design.
Gizmodo The Rezound's got two things going for it no one else does. 1) It's the first phone in the U.S. to have a 720p screen, giving it greater pixel density than even the iPhone 4/4S (342 PPI vs 326 PPI). 2) It's the first phone in the U.S. to have Beats by Dre integration.
Into Mobile If you’re looking for a bad ass 4G LTE handset on Verizon and the Motorola RAZR and Samsung Galaxy Nexus aren’t quite your cup of tea, the HTC Rezound is probably your first choice.
Android Community The HTC Rezound is not the nicest HTC device to have been released thus far to the market here in the USA, but it certainly does have all the features that make it one of the best smartphones on Verizon, and certainly one of the top two LTE devices today.
Geek HTC needed to separate themselves from the rest of the Android manufacturers. With news of Motorola being bought by Google, and Samsung clearly a favorite for the Nexus device two years in a row, there needed to be something that allowed HTC to stand out.
