On June 14th, OnePlus will be showing its latest creation, the OnePlus 3 off to the world. The company will also be opening the device to sales, first to those with the Loop VR, then to the rest of the world. The biggest question mark surrounding this device, after all the leaks which revealed the devices specs, has been the price. Those questions may have been resolved now that India has received its first shipment of the OnePlus 3.
Over 7000 devices were shipped to India and passed through Zauba, and along with it, came the value of each device. Each device was valued at 22,858 INR, which after conversion, comes to just over $340. This is close to the $349 price that we heard about for the base model of the OnePlus 3.
We’re less than a week away from the official unveiling, and thanks to OnePlus’ removal of the controversial Invite System, everyone will be able to get their hands on the device. Of course, as long as OnePlus has enough inventory to sustain an open launch.
Does the OnePlus 3 intrigue you? Or have you given up on OnePlus due to the issues surrounding the performance and invite system in the past?
