Tursion TS-102 Is a Pico Projector With Android Inside

8

Not gonna lie — suffering from a gadget obsession, I’ve often times considered the purchase of one of those handy, pocket sized pico projectors but in all my travels, I’ve never come across one like this before. The Tursion TS-102 is a 624MHz dual-core toting, Android packin’ pico projector capable of projecting an 800×600 image up to 100-inches in size at 20 lumens.

This little guy comes bundled with Android 2.1 and even a built in touchpad on its exterior for navigating the OS. You can also play stored media from the 8GB of internal memory or optional microSD card. It also comes with WiFi functionality and will last up to 80-minutes on a single charge. What will this little piece of luxury cost you? You can find it right now on Amazon for a somewhat steep $449 price tag. But just think of all the chicks you can pick up with this thing!

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

  1. What kind of processor is that? Ans dual core at that

    1. I mean, wouldn’t really matter if it was a quad-core. With Android 2.1 — it’s only going to use one of those little 624MHz cores =p

  2. Gadget obsession. Well said. I have wanted one of these, but I would most likely never, ever, use it.

    1. Just bought $150 Bluetooth speakers… I need help =/

      1. Thank god I don’t have money.

Wait. If I did, I would just spend it.

      2. I want to get an Android tablet…do I need one? No. I want to get a netbook…do I need one? No. I want to get a chromebook, do I need one? No.

…though more than likely I’ll end up getting one of the above. Probably the netbook…especially since the Lenovo X120e is so enticing for the pricetag.

  3. Now mobile porn won’t be limited to 4.3″ of pleasure. :P

  4. 80 mintutes!? I’m guessing it’s straight using the Projector. I’d kill legally to have one of these!! Then after I buy it I’ll think of some way to actually benefit from having it. :P
