Upset that your HTC phone was one of many left out of the bootloader unlocking party? The Revolutionary tool was highly sought-after ahead of HTC providing their own official bootloader unlocking program, but only the HTC EVO 3D for Sprint and the HTC Sensation 4G for T-Mobile received love.
More of you are now able to get in on the fun, though, as they’ve added a nice crop of devices which includes the HTC EVO 4G’s Gingerbread update and the MyTouch 4G Slide. A full list can be had below and the download can be had at their site (remember, this is a developer preview and you jump into this at your own risk). [Thanks to everyone who sent this in!]

While it seems nobody owns this phone. How about adding support for the EVO Shift 4G
Lies, the Shift has a great community. Revolutionary needs to get working on the Shift, or we need to have one of our guys join the team to help support us…
The software works fantastic. I used it last night to root my DINC2 and it was as easy as using unrevoked on my og Incredible. Here’s to some CM7 goodness!
ORLY?! I just rooted my Thunderbolt last Thursday night via Auto Root method. If only this came out a week ago. But, hey, I’m still rooted.
This is different. even if you are rooted you should still do this because it means that you can install any version of android that comes out and you can install aosp roms like cm7 and miui
I apologize. I’m a noob to this and I’m confused. I’ve already loaded a GingerBread based ROM on my Bolt via Rom Manager/CWR. How would this bootloader unlock tool improve on the current method?
If your bootloader is locked, your root customization options are still limited. With an unlocked bootloader, the phone is ALL yours. ;)
So, please humor me, what else can I do?
if I wanted to load a new ROM and kernel, what would I do different ?
work 1st time go evo 4g
Still waiting for Wildfire S to be unlocked.
Do this for Droid 3!!!
Why do I have to put in my serial number to use this tool?
