New Pictures of the Follow-Up to the Xperia X10 Mini Pro Surface With Gingerbread

Yes, folks, it still lives. Amidst the quartet of Android devices Sony Ericsson has already launched and will soon be launching, they aren’t forgetting about the folks who enjoy smaller, cuter devices with keyboards. Another crop of images have surfaced showing what looks to be the successor to the X10 Mini Pro. (The name is still up in the air.)

Things look pretty much like they always have, but these new shots confirm they’ll be sticking with a rendition of their custom overlay used on the first generation of Xperia devices (which differs from what’s on the Arc and Play) and will have Android 2.3 Gingerbread at launch. Cool beans, Sony Ericsson, but we want to see that Xperia Pro on store shelves before you officially out this thing. [via Unofficial SE Blog]
