We already got a pretty good look at this thing ourselves at CTIA Wireless, but if you needed to see more of the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G from Magenta themselves then today’s your lucky day. They show us what they’ve done with the messaging and multimedia experiences on the device as well as Google Services – those of you who are already familiar with Android already knows what’s going on with that last one. You can find the messaging video above while the other two are below.
I can’t wait until this phone comes out! I really like that they put Android on the new Sidekick. I think it will make the phone so much better. I wish they would have been able to keep the swivel screen but it is understandable since it now has a touch screen. Of course, with the Android operating system, it will allow a lot of apps to be downloaded. As soon as this phone comes out I am going to get one! Then the first app that I will download will be the DISH Remote Access app. This app works with my 922 SlingLoaded receiver to stream live TV and recorded shows to my phone when and where I want. Let me tell you TV is just not the same without being able to take it with you wherever you go! I can’t wait to do this with the Sidekick 4G!
