To continue a deluge of tasty HTC Thunderbolt news, following up on some speed tests we were made privy to, we now have a shot listing the handset among the annals of Celebrite. Combine this with the ability to now add the HTC Thunderbolt to your shopping cart at the HTC online store for $699.99, and I’d say we are looking at an imminent release for Verizon’s first 4G LTE phone.
You may or may not be able to see the Thunderbolt in your shopping cart by clicking this link and then clicking “Cart.” In case that fails, see photographic proof above. Again, we are hearing March 3rd or 4th is the most likely go date for this phone, so fingers crossed we won’t be waiting much longer.

This is juicy!! The excitement continues….
I sure wish they would offered it unlocked, here’s hoping for a nexus lte next year :)
I’m getting excited all over again!!!
Any one notice there’s a model number ADR6350, and as of now there’s no device with that model number
Interesting little Firefox link I found…

@Brandon, thats the model number for the HTC Merge which was just announced officially today by HTC as coming to multiple carriers this spring, we already know Verizon and Alltel will be getting one.
but aside from that, this news is extremely juicy, WERE CLOSE FOLKS! Maybe they’ll finally announce it Monday and we can put an end to the release date myths
Sorry…notice the user agent model number.
@Brandon, oops, i got the 6350 confused with the 6325. The 6350 is the SLCD Incredible i believe
Not sure if I should wait for the Bionic instead.
@NCX If a phone that was just announced is showing up in the system, can we really make anything of the TB being in there now?
I still think its getting released Monday!!!
its funny since the optimus 3d is only $700 and is alot stronger in many ways

@NCX, couldnt it also be the Droid Incredible 2 which has had some leaked images shot of it. Obviously it would have to be below the Thunderbolt it would make perfect sense that it would be ADR6350
Now we know THE TRUTH THAT VERIZON DOES NOT WANT US TO KNOW ABOUT THE THUNDERBOLT AND EXACTLY WHY THE DELAY’S EXIST……This Article is on http://www.engadget.com….EDUCATE YOURSELF HTC Thunderbolt said to have terrible battery life, might explain delay?

We’re hearing from… well, let’s call them “people familiar with the matter” that HTC’s Thunderbolt — a phone that’s supposed to be Verizon’s first with LTE — is experiencing positively miserable battery life that’s making it difficult for testers to avoid carrying a second phone around as a backup. How bad? Two to three hours from full to empty in some cases. Of course, we wouldn’t be surprised if battery life was really bad with the LTE radio left on — the EVO 4G wasn’t much different at launch with WiMAX lit up — but the word on the street is that the power situation is largely responsible for the delays we’ve been seeing. In fact, our source tells us the phone is currently working on its sixth retail delay at the moment. More on this situation as we get it.
Update: We’ve just heard from another trusted tipster that there’s definitely a new firmware in the works to address battery life and signal issues (which — you guessed it — are interrelated). Thanks, HTC Kid!
At $699 this is disappointing. EVO 4G is only $499 retail… and not enough difference for a $200 markup. Will be skipping it
I’ll just wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait……….> and the wait continues…….>
@phandroid
Verizon pulled their Thunderbolt commercials from their YouTube account. Either they are updating them with an imminent release date or maybe the device is coming out even later than expected.
@me
The T-Bolt is two times faster than the EVO and has a more powerful 4G network behind it (that should also drain less battery than high frequency WiMAX).
Verizon has pulled all of their ThunderBolt ads from their YouTube channel. This can’t be good.
HTC makes crappy phones!! And they want $699… crack kills!! I looked at this phone and it’s made of cheap plastic, the back is hard to remove and the only thing cool about it is that its running Google Android software. I’ll pass… waiting for the Motorola Bionic and if I have the b*lls to go to AT&T, I’ll get the Atrix with the laptop dock.. but wondering about AT&T.
Not to happy about 700 bucks for a phone. Especially since I probably won’t be able to take advantage of any price reductions for new contracts stuff.
…but if I can get the bills to pay for a Thunderbolt, I’ll be getting one to replace my Droid 1.
Some new Windows Phones and the HP line of handset look kinda cool, but I’m sold on Android. Won’t be getting anything else anytime soon. :)
@tim242
i just saw a new thunderbolt ad last night that i’ve never seen before…still no date on it. who knows.
@droidum- Plastic? Everyone that has ACTUALLY seen the phone has said that it feels really solid and not cheap at all. It has an alluminum unibody construction.. Wanna talk about plastic? The atrix and the bionic are both made of plastic. Get your shit straight before you start spewing comments.
Wow $700 for an Evo? HTC is my favorite phone manufacturer, but they’ve fallen way behind the competition in 2011. they’re out of their minds if they think this phone is worth $700 or $250 with contract.
Atrix > Evobolt
Wow what makes this so costly?
oh shit yeah removing the thunderbolt ads from their youtube page cant be a good sign
my bets on monday!
It’d b a great day Monday morning if it shows up. GREAT MORNING!!!
This prob means Monday and shutting off the commercials is just trying to throw us off.
thunderbolt showed up on 2nd page of best buy ad for $300. this is a sign for monday.
