T-Mobile Pulse Coming To UK Early October?

7

Don’t you love it when online retailers jump the gun? The danger in caring is that they’re often wrong, but one online retailer is already allowing pre-orders of the T-Mobile Pulse claiming it will launch in October for the price of 250 euros.

The site includes a nice, not-yet-seen renders of the T-Mobile Pulse:

Unfortunately we’ve got to throw up the red flags because this differs from the photos that Gizmodo was able to dig up of the same advice. And Gizmodo’s photos look like photos, not mere renders:

Regardless of what it ends up LOOKING like, the potential specs are more widely agreed upon although much like the design/date/price, still just a rumor:

  • 3.5 inch touchscreen
  • 320 x 480 pixels resolution
  • HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA 5.76 Mbps
  • Wi-Fi
  • GPS
  • Microsoft Exchange support
  • Bluetooth 2.0
  • 3.2MP camera
  • MicroSD slot

Not bad… not bad at all. By the way the phone is manufactured by Huawei and its arrival on various carriers in various locations is unknown. This particular rumor is centered around T-Mobile UK and we’re not sure what the future holds for the Pulse and T-Mo USA or any other carrier for that matter.

  1. Looks pretty good, would be nice if T-Mobile USA offered more Android phones….

  2. Why do the new tmobile android phones (mytouch and this) both have worse pixel specs than the G1? Isnt the idea to IMPROVE on the technology? The mytouch, and i presume this phone as well have more memory and speed but the G1 is as fast as anything when running its stock os or the mytouch rom. With flash coming to android would graphics as well as processor be the focus? glad i have the g1

  3. How is this rumor centered around the UK? The link to the retailer takes us to a dutch site. According to http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=nl&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Ftweakers.net%2Fnieuws%2F61966%2Fandroid-toestel-t-mobile-pulse-gaat-250-euro-kosten.html it’s going to be sim-locked. On the plus side, it’s not expensive.

  4. i think we can relate between the release of this phone and the release of Donut release, i remember reading once that one of Donut’s main features will be supporting different screen sizes.
Therefore, I believe we’re going to get our hands on Donut late October

  5. Um, guys. That’s a Dutch site, not from the UK. A sign might have been that the currency is euros not pounds. That order you can place is from T-Mobile Netherlands, even though T-Mobile don’t have it officially on their site. Although i’m not familiar with this site, they are apparently normally very accurate.

  6. Does anyone feel that all this Android phones are to similar specifications wise? It would be much better if there was some differentication

  7. When will be getting phones with at the very least 4 gigs of storage? Micro SD slot is useless if you can’t put apps on it (stock rom. not-rooted of course).

If Apple/ATT can let the iPhone 3G go for $99 with 8 gigs, really, all of these oems have no excuse.
