LG Class

The LG Class is a 2015 mid-range phone by the South Korean electronics company. It was one of LG's first smartphones to emphasize the use of a full metal design. It launched at an affordable price tag thanks to its middling specs:

  • 5-inch 1280 x 720 display with “2.5D” curved glass
  • 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset
  • 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage
  • 13 megapixel rear camera, 8 megapixel front camera
  • LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC
  • 142 x 71.8 x 7.4 mm, 147 g
  • 2,050mAh battery
  • Android 5.11 Lollipop

The phone was originally offered on all South Korea carriers, but didn't see widespread availability elswhere.

LG officially announces the metal-clad LG Class

The renders were as real as real can be, folks. This is the LG Class, a phone fully decked out in metal. It’s bound to turn heads, but not just because this is LG’s first handset using this much of the hard material. It’s a beautiful tease of things to come, but hardly beautiful in itself, from where we stand.
