In case you felt Toshiba’s last tablet offering was a little too.. uh — big boned for ya — they’re at it again this time with smaller Thrive 7-inch in both 16GB and 32GB versions. The biggest appeal with the original 10-inch Thrive was its full sized USB and HDMI ports as well as SD card slot. The 7-incher continues the tradition but this time with mini/micro versions of each.
And thank goodness they did. The Thrive 7-inch is now noticeably slimmer than that brick of a 10-incher, coming in at only .47-inches thick. Toshiba also decided to keep with the familiar styling adding a grooved (now non-removable) backing and metal accents around the cameras.
As far as specs go, expect the same Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, 5MP rear with 2MP front facing cameras, 1280×800 resolution display and Android 3.2 Honeycomb with absolutely no custom UI. Still no word on pricing yet but you can expect it before the holidays at a sub $400 price point.

Too much screen on the bezel
The way you worded that sounds like you want MOAR bezel… Lol
Where else is he going to put his sticky notes? :D
dammit come on Toshiba bring the AT200 to the US BEFORE the holidays…BASTARDS!
If the sub 400 buck price point is for the 32gb version then color me curious. That’s pretty competitive with the inclusion of expandable memory. If it has expandable memory that is.
