Meizu’s MX Coming at the End of the September in Multiple-Core Flavors, Says CEO

3

Despite all of the cheap knockoffs coming from China, they still do have a few companies who produce gems of phones and tablets. One such company is Meizu, one I’m sure many of you are familiar with. The next device in their lineup – the MX (10) – is Android based, if you didn’t know, and is now set to release at the end of September according to CEO Jack Wong. Two variants of the MX will be available – a 16GB dual-core phone alongside a quad-core offering. Even with a single core processor, Meizu’s previous phones have been some of the smoothest devices out there, so you can imagine why we’re so excited that they’re bringing multi-core love to the drove of fans sure to pick this up. Unfortunately, most of us won’t be seeing it outside of China, but I can say that this is one Chinese piece of technology I wouldn’t mind seeing make a trek across the Pacific. [Engadget]
