Two weeks before the release of the Evo 3D, Best Buy had the official HTC dock for the device listed in their coming soon section on their site. You may have wondered just what the heck happened seeing how we’re a month into the phone’s release. Well, if you were looking to get your hands on this dock and watch The Green Hornet for the 5th time SprintFeed found this leaked flyer for the newly titled HTC Video Dock. The official Video Dock will be arriving and sold inside Sprint stores this August 21st and will retail for $50.
Wait- AUGUST 21ST? As sexy as this dock is, I can’t imagine why it would take so long for this dock to launch. Think I might just make my own makeshift dock with a 1 dollar bill and wait for the launch of the Galaxy S II.

Now we see why they wanted a special port for HDMI/charging. So you can buy a piece of plastic that costs 40+ bucks instead of a 4 dollar cable.

I have an HDMI dock for my EVO 4G… I love it and I don’t even use it for HDMI, it just sits on my desk at work and I think it is very valuable. I just plop it in and it charges, no more fiddling with the cable. The dock just makes my life feel nicer!

You’re right, plugging in a cable is so hard. Yet another opportunity for you to sprain your wrist. Thankfully, there’s a $50 chunk of plastic to save your limp wrists from possible injury! Whew! Crisis averted. Your life now feels nicer, due to the luxurious feel… of plastic. :P (Eh, you opened a door I just had to walk through.)

Grrr I’m still waiting on the official kickstand case! It seems to be sold out everywhere and i dont see them in Sprint stores!!! :(

Ahhh august nope if at best buy yes well I have it already at my store and loo ks pretty nice (radioshack) and I can tell you that video buttom isn’t nothing special its just a regular desktop docking station
