Watch out Samsung, the Oura Ring 4 is here!

0

For the longest time ever, the Oura Ring was one of the few smart rings available to consumers. But then earlier this year, Samsung entered the space with the Galaxy Ring, and now Oura has responded in kind with a new version of their smart ring. This comes in the form of the Oura Ring 4.

Externally, it doesn’t look too different from the Oura Ring 3. However, the company claims that the new Oura Ring 4 is slimmer than its predecessor. They also claim that it is more accurate and is fully made out of titanium. There is also a slight redesign where the entire ring is now round instead of having a flat edge. This results in a smart ring that looks very sleek.

In terms of features, Oura has included updated algorithms in its software to help better pick up on data while the ring is worn. This is due to how the ring can move out of alignment throughout the day, and as a result, some data is missed. Other than that, users can look forward to similar health and fitness related tracking features, along with a new Daytime Stress measurement feature as well as fertile window predictions.

As for price, the Oura Ring 4 is priced at $349. It is more expensive than its predecessor, but the Oura Ring 3 is still available for purchase while stocks last so you can always go for that in case you don’t need these new upgrades. The smart ring will also be available in additional sizes ranging from 4-15, a step up from the previous model that was only available in sizes 6-13.
