The continued rise of Arm-based computing solutions in recent years has certainly shifted the direction of the general consumer electronics industry, to the point where even established players like Intel are feeling the effects of stronger competition from other brands in the segment. Intel’s ventures haven’t been the most profitable lately, with the company reporting massive losses (as much as $1.6 billion).
