Motorola’s New Smartwatch Makes a Rather Stealthy Debut

0

In case you missed it, Motorola launched its newest Moto Watch 120 fairly recently, although we can’t say we blame you as all eyes were on Google’s new Pixel phones. Nevertheless, the Moto Watch 120 does come with some pretty handy features, which should be ideal for folks after a relatively-cheap smart wearable.

Priced at around $130, the Moto Watch 120 comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED touchscreen, which is wrapped in an IP68-rated metal body available in Rose Gold, Glacier Silver, and Phantom Black. The watch features a circular watch face, as opposed to other Moto watches with rectangular displays. Motorola says that the watch’s 300 mAh battery can last for up to ten days on a single charge, which outperforms most other wearable devices on the market.

There’s a catch though – the Moto Watch 120 runs on a custom operating system instead of Wear OS, so there are some limitations with regards to software versatility. It does come with a lot of the basics though such as customizable watch faces, notifications and music playback control, more than a hundred sports modes, and support for heart rate and SPO2 tracking.
