Last month, Xiaomi officially debuted their new flip smartphone, the Xiaomi Mix Flip. The handset was initially announced for China, but the rumors are claiming that the company could bring it to global markets soon. The question is, how much will it cost? Thanks to the latest rumors, the global pricing of the Xiaomi Mix Flip has been revealed.
According to the rumors, the Mix Flip could be priced at EUR1,299 for the EU market. It is also rumored to debut in the Philippines where it is rumored to cost PHP64,999, and in Malaysia where the price is said to be MYR4,300. For context, the Mix Flip debuted in China with a price tag of CNY6,499.
When doing a direct conversion to EUR, it is around EUR820. This means that the official price in EU, according to the rumors, will be substantially more than what customers are paying in China. Of course, direct conversions don’t work, so it’s probably not realistic to expect them to maintain those prices.
The rumored EU pricing also puts the Xiaomi Mix Flip on par with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, which is priced starting at EUR1,200. Do take these figures with a grain of salt for now, especially since Xiaomi hasn’t announced anything official yet.
