We know that a new foldable Pixel phone is coming this month. Google recently teased that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be announced alongside the Pixel 9 phone in August. If you were hoping to get your hands on the phone this month, you could be disappointed. This is because there are reports suggesting that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold could only go on sale in September.
This is according to a post on Android Headlines where they have learned that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold could only go on sale next month. The report suggests that the other Pixel phones, which includes the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL, will be available for pre-order on the 13th of August after Google’s Pixel event ends.
The phones are then expected to start shipping out to customers on the 22nd of August. As for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, it could be pushed to September, possibly until the 4th of September. It is possible that pre-orders could be open in August, but you’ll have to wait until September before you get it.
The report also claims that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 could be similarly delayed even longer. The earbuds might not arrive until the 26th of September. It’s not a particularly long wait, but for those who were hoping to get it earlier could be disappointed.
