The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has launched in the US…but it’ll be more expensive

0

Earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE was launched where it was initially available in some parts of the world, the US not included. The good news is that it looks like it has finally made its way to our shores, but the bad news is that it looks like you won’t be paying the same price as everyone else.

The phone was initially priced at $599, which is honestly not too bad of a deal, but the listing on Samsung’s website has revealed that in the US, customers will have to fork out $629.99. This is about $30 more than what was previously advertised, and admittedly it’s not that much more but if you were hoping to grab a smartphone under $600, the Galaxy S23 FE is not it.

As a quick recap for those who missed the announcement, the Galaxy S23 FE will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset under the hood and will feature 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. It will also pack a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a triple camera setup on the back that consists of a 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, and 8MP telephoto, with a 10MP selfie cam rounding things off.

It will also come with a 4,500mAh battery with 25W wired charging support and Android 13. Another thing to note is that the phone will actually be supported until 2027, so if you want an Android phone that has a pretty long support schedule, this could still be a great buy.
