Nothing has finally confirmed that the latest version of its software for the Nothing Phone (1) is now available for download. The patch comes with several updates including fixes for security and stability.

With software version number 1.5.3, the new update features improvements for UI visuals, some new wallpapers, performance stability, including software that will support the Nothing Ear (2), and updates to Game Mode. As for bug fixes, the following are included:
- Fixed abnormal appearance of Night Light mode in certain scenarios.
- Fixed the flashing charging prompt on the AOD interface.
- Fixed issue where Glyph lights did not show for incoming WhatsApp calls.
- Fixed freeze issues during YouTube video playback.
- Fixed issue where weather data did not show in the Quick Look widget.
Speaking of the Nothing Ear (2), The company will be hosting a live reveal on the March 22 at 7AM PT/10AM ET which users can watch on Nothing’s website. Users who want to stay updated can also go to the company’s website and register their email and will be notified when the event goes live.
As for the next Nothing Phone, it’s expected that the upcoming handset will debut with a Qualcomm Snapdragon series 8 chipset, although not much is known about other hardware details at this point.
Users should head over to the Settings app on their Nothing Phone to check for the latest update.
