These new tablets all fall under the company’s Fire HD 8 series of tablets, but there are different variants and models for different needs and different price points.
For starters, there is the basic Fire HD 8 tablet priced at just $99.99, making it a steal and a great value for money Android tablet. It features an 8-inch display and boasts a 30% improvement in performance over its predecessor, comes with 2GB of RAM, and will have a battery life of up to 13 hours.
For those who are looking for a bit more, there is the Fire HD 8 Plus, a slightly souped up model over the base model with more RAM at 3GB, support for wireless charging, and also an improved 5MP rear-facing camera, all of which can be yours for just $119.99.
Then there are also some models aimed at kids with the Fire HD 8 Kids and the Fire HD 8 Kids Pro. Both models come with a protective kid-proof case so if you’re looking for a tablet for kids, this could be it.
