Three UK Getting HTC Desire HD, Samsung Galaxy Europa for Free from £35, £20 Per Month

3

All you Three fans out there should be happy to learn that – coming later this month (sometime within the next 10 days) – they will be launching the HTC Desire HD. You’ll be able to grab the HTC Desire HD for free on tariffs starting at £35 per month and orders are being taken right now. Not bad for what’s sure to be one of the hottest phones out in Europe this holiday season. They’re also announcing the Samsung Galaxy Europa, an Android 2.1 phone with tariffs starting at £20 per month. (The phone will be upgraded to Android 2.2 sometime in the future, says Three.) This probably isn’t something you guys would be looking to get to do all of your hardcore Android bidding, but it’s a nice option for those who need a capable phone without a taxing phone bill.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. So cheap!!!

Here in France you have to pay 45 euros a month to get a 24-month contract with unlimited texts, 1Gb Internet and 1 or 2 hours only of calling time. Besides the phone won’t be free for that kind of plan, still have to pay between 200 and 300 euros for it (likely 300 euros for such a phone).

I’m seriously thinking about moving to the UK! :-)

  2. When I look at mobile phone plans in the UK, I can’t help but envy them. Especially when we consider the poor service and extremely ripoff prices that we get here in Canada.

  3. I disagree with Chris said above.
The service we get in Canada is good and the price is not ripoff.
