Apple’s iPad is undoubtedly the king of tablets, but if you’re not a fan of the iPad or Apple or iOS in general, then you most definitely will want to take a look at some of Lenovo’s latest Android tablets, the Lenovo Tab P11 and the Tab P11 Pro.
In terms of design, both the Tab P11 and P11 Pro look more or less the same, but under the hood, they are both very different machines.
Starting with the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro, this tablet comes with an 11.2-inch OLED display with support for Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10+ support. The display boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a brightness of up to 600 nits. It also comes with four built-in speakers from JBL and there is also Dolby Atmos support for spatial audio.
Under the hood, the Tab P11 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s Kompanio 1300T chipset with 8GB of RAM and support for WiFi 6. It also boasts a battery life of up to 14 hours, and there will also be an included detachable keyboard if you need to turn the tablet into a pseudo laptop of sorts. It also supports the Lenovo Precision Pen 3 stylus which might be ideal for artists.
As for the Lenovo Tab P11, it will feature an 11.5-inch LCD also with a 120Hz refresh rate, and under the hood, a MediaTek G99 chipset can be found with support for up to 6GB of RAM, and support for WiFi 6E. It will not come with an included keyboard as it will be sold as an optional accessory along with the Lenovo Precision Pen 2, Lenovo Charging Station 2, and the Lenovo Folio Case.
While both tablets are obviously different in terms of hardware, they will share some features like Lenovo Freestyle, an app that lets users link the tablet to a Windows computer where the tablet can double up as a secondary display or act as a touchscreen for laptops.
The Lenovo Tab P11 will be priced starting at $249.99 and will be available in January 2023, while the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro will be priced starting at $399.99 and will be available in September 2022.
