People on Twitter using Android may soon be able to stop enviously looking at iPhone users since the social media company looks to be adding functionality for selecting tweet text.
Most users of the top Android phones are now unable to choose text within a tweet, excluding a few smartphones, like the Pixels. Long-pressing on a tweet on an Android device can copy the entire version of a tweet to the clipboard. For power users and typical users alike is a beneficial feature for everyone, so it’s great to see such a thing coming to Android.
iOS users have had the option to pick and choose elements of a tweet for a long time. According to Jane Manchun Wong tweet on Twitter, it could soon be added to Twitter’s Android app quicker than we might think.
