Flagship phones have a reputation for packing high-end hardware that have equally high-end price tags attached to it. Sure, we would all love a super powerful phone, but not all of us can afford it. Enter the Realme GT Neo2.
The company has officially announced the GT Neo2 for the Indian market where the phone packs some pretty impressive hardware, and also comes in at an impressive price, and we mean that in a good way.
Priced at around $425, the GT Neo2 features near flagship-level hardware. We’re talking about the use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, which is basically a souped up version of the very capable Snapdragon 865+. It is clocked at 3.2GHz making it faster than its predecessor.
The display is also equally impressive for its price. Customers will be able to look forward to a large 6.62-inch display with a 1080p resolution, an OLED display panel, and also a 120Hz refresh rate. Realme has also outfitted the phone with a new vapor cooling system that they claim is 20% more efficient, thanks to the combined use of both stainless steel and copper.
The GT Neo2 will also be featuring the use of a triple camera system that includes a 64MP main shooter, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. Last but not least, the phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery, while also supporting Realme’s 65W SuperDash fast-charging system.
The phone was initially launched in China just last month and will now be released in India, but it is expected to eventually make its way to Europe and Southeast Asia after.
