Emotional Google Assistant commercial wins the Super Bowl

0

There are a lot of reasons to watch the Super Bowl. The main attraction is the game itself, but many tune in simply to catch the new ads. Personally, I wasn’t impressed with most of the new commercials. There were a few that were funny enough to make me chuckle and smile and some which left us scratching my head.

But the winning commercial was one that no one would have expected. The Google Assistant ad was by far the most heart-warming Super Bowl commercial I’ve seen in a very long time.

The ad was technically published to Google’s YouTube channel 6 days ago and has racked up more than 11 million views and 2,600 comments, most of which have come since the ad aired during last night’s game. I have to admit that I woke up this morning and searched for it on YouTube just so I could watch it again.

It’s just that good.

I’m not going to describe the commercial since I’ll never be able to do it justice. Take a look for yourself.
