It’s that time of the year when it’s time to clear the shelves of last year’s devices, as we prepare for a new crop coming around the bend. If you’re on Verizon and have been holding off on upgrading your aging Android device, the largest carrier in the US is currently offering up one helluva buy-one-get-one-free deal today.
For a limited time, you can buy a Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, LG V30, or Moto Z2 Force and receive a second one for free. Of course, the usual caveats apply. You’ll have to trade-in one of a handful of select devices and activate a new line with Verizon Unlimited plan, after which you can use the BOGO deal as long as both devices are on a device payment plan. Here are the acceptable trade-ins:
It’s not a lot of hoops to jump through and most folks should have no trouble qualifying for the deal, especially considering it works whether you’re an existing customer or making the switch to Verizon. Just buy one of the above listed phones on payments, buy a second one from the same manufacturer, and then choose and Unlimited plan and you’re good to go.
Keep in mind that the savings on the second device will be applied as a credit to your account over the course of a 24-month period and the deal is only good for a limited time. We couldn’t find an actual end date listed, but given the fact that this is billed as a “Valentine’s Day” promo, you should at least have until the 14th of next month to make a decision.
