For some strange reason, Samsung Pay has yet to launch in the UK, despite being available in the States for some time. However, there may be some good news on the horizon after one user chatted with Samsung regarding the matter.

According to the chat records, the Samsung representatives stated that Samsung Pay will indeed launch in the UK on May 16th. Considering the fact that the same date was given by 2 different representatives, that’s a pretty good sign that we’re on the right path.
As you would expect, Samsung Pay will work with both NFC and traditional credit card terminals across stores in the UK. Hopefully, barring any last minute setbacks, we’ll hear something official from Samsung itself.
