The Moto X (2nd Gen) is fast approaching its 1 year birthday and with that, Motorola has begun teasing another big sale on the device. Starting tomorrow (and tomorrow only), you can pick up a brand new Motorola Moto X for up to $225 off its regular price.
That means the 32GB model can be had for $350 and if you need something with a bit more internal storage, Motorola says they’ll the 64GB model will run $375. Not a bad deal if you’ve been looking to upgrade outside of carrier contracts and the $800 Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge isn’t a viable option for you.
The Moto X is still one of our favorite Android devices out and what it doesn’t have in specs, it makes up for it in style. Let’s not forget it’s still easily one of the fastest Android devices available. The deal starts tomorrow, May 5th at 11AM CT and ends at 11AM CT, May 6th.

Having now owned both phones, I think I prefer the moto better. Much nicer display (IMO) and feel in hand. Also the 5.2″ screen is eaaier for me to handle. I think the OPO has it on battery life though.
and the camera, which is typically the main competing factor for many smartphones nowadays
but buggy OS, motoX wins against 1plus1 in regards to all around functionality because of OS stability, and I have a G3 so I am unbiased but it’s mostly conjecture. =P
I don’t buy a phone based on camera alone. Most phones have a decent camera for most people. I see a good camera as a bonus.
OnePlus One’s camera isn’t much better than Moto X. They both don’t have OIS, so they equally suck =P

Pure Edition has all the T-Mobile compatible 3G/4G LTE bands.
