There’s probably no better way to relive gaming’s golden age on your Android device than with SNK Playmore’s titles on Google Play. You remember those days of plunking quarters down your favorite coin-op machine at your local pizzeria, only to realize you’ve spent a small fortune trying to make it to the 2nd level of Metal Slug.
Well, today, in celebration of King of Fighters’ 20th anniversary (technically this Monday, August 25th), SNK Playmore is marking down their entire game library to only $1. The game sale will run all the way until Tuesday, August 26th and includes the following titles:
- Metal Slug 3
- Metal Slug X
- Metal Slug 2
- Metal Slug 1
- The King of Fighters ’98
- The King of Fighters ’97
- The King of Fighters-A 2012
- Samurai Showdown II
- Blazing Star
There’s some pretty good deals in here as a few of these titles were previously $3+. We’ve actually been waiting for a deal like this before picking up a few of our favorites and we’re sure many of you feel the same way. Now go and throw down a few more extra quarters. For old times’ sake.
Any of these moga compatible?
Samurai shodown and the kof games are
Cop those KOF titles.
Games like these will be ideal for Android TV is they have support for Google’s gamepad. I already have a small wishlist going for games I plan to buy once I get my Android TV – Crazy Taxi, Soul Calibur, several Final Fantasy games, etc.
Honestly, I’ve been building a healthy library simply in hopes Android will one day have true gamepad support. Time to finish off my collection…
Just listened to the podcast. You are wrong about screen size being used for Nexus phone names. You said on the podcast that the Nexus 4 has a 4″ screen. It does not. It has a 4.7″ screen. A lot of OEM’s name tablets by screen size, none of them do for phones. You are just trying to lump all Nexus stuff together. 4.7 !=! 4.
Although your post is 3 days old, I’m really interested in what programming language does “!=!” exist.
I’m assuming it means “does not equal” from your context. Would “does equal” be “===”? I can’t find it anywhere.
You also can’t find the does not equal sign on a phone keyboard. Try harder
I meant in the sense that “!=” are operations in coding. I thought “!=!” was a type of operator from a coding language and I was wondering from where. I wasn’t being sarcastic. LoL!! I guess I should have added “Kappa” at the end.
This might be worth it on all of my accounts but I’ve already got these games on emulators.
whats a good emmulator?
MAME
Wish these were on sale for amazon app store. doh.
Wow, wish they had Baseball Allstars (or whatever the game was called). I used to love that game!!!
Do you mean that game where you hit a baseball and it bounces across the screen and you’re trying to hit someone with the baseball?
