Alright, now it’s getting good. After a few days of Google uploading Nexus 7 tutorials on their YouTube channel detailing even the most mundane tasks, we’re now getting to Jelly Bean features. More like a commercial than an actual tutorial, the creepy dead-hand is back and in their latest video, Google highlights a few features found on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean that separate it from some of Google’s previous desserts. There was 3 main features shown off this time around: face unlock with blink security, Google now, Google Play widgets and enhanced notifications. Nothing new for us veterans, but once again, you can forward this video to some of your less tech savvy friends and family to help them in their Jelly Bean journey.

Really? Mine shows this (see attached pic) When I click it, it brings up the intents dialog and I can choose YouTube or browser :T

You guys should use the new YouTube API from Google to embed the video into your app.
It’s in the plans but last time I checked it’s not available to the public yet. I emailed the YouTube team for access request (like they said to) and they never even emailed me back.
…so I’ll keep checking.
I personally never saw this happen nor have had any reported issues like this. maybe the internets are at fault?
Either way, email our support which is phandroid-news .at. phandroid.com. this should not be happening and we will help troubleshoot what’s up and get a fix.
Provide any details you can that will help like how often it happens, when it started happening, what phone, ROM, OS, etc.

Maybe it’s because I am using last years Phandroid App? Heh I keep forgetting, but prefer the layout. Anyway, my bad. :)
Which layout do you prefer? The new app has a sleek interface built using 4x style guidelines which IMO is tons better. If you do like the old layout better I would just be curious to know what particular UI features.
The guy in the video gives me the creeps… I think he is a cereal killer.

Chris the Phandroid app is not loading all of the comments.
Sometimes there can be a slight delay for comments to show. …this is Disqus API which usually quickly resolves itself.
Steve another bit of info….a few days ago I updated the phandroid app and disqus comments stopped loading. The fix was easy as I just went into settings it looked like my session expired. But less savvy users may not pick up on it and start rating down your app.
Ha, mine food the same but i had to uninstall and reinstall. Steve responded very quickly.
Try refreshing an article within the app…it’s…electrifying. O_o

just so you know Steve, not sure if this is disqus or the app, but I log into disqus on both my gnex and nex7 but only one can show comments at a time for some reason.I have to log out and back in for it to work again.
