I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

On the gaming tablet, it seems that all you really need is a controller and a tablet and you’ve pretty much got a gaming tablet, especially with Tegra 3 and other beefier chipsets out there.

It’s going to be hard to sell that to a tech-savy market.

    Yeah that’s his I feel about it. I think they could make barrels of money selling a universal controller that can attach to 7 in. tablets and one for 10 in. tablets too. Heck if they wanted to go all out just make the 10 in. version adjustable to support 8.9-10.1 inches they would have mostly the whole tablet market covered.

  *If* I read the article correctly, then other manufacturers should only have to write their own software independent of Apple’s to do the same thing. I am by no means an expert on such things, and if I am wrong and it is indeed a patent on the procedure itself, then that is another bs patent.
