The Sony Xperia GX is exactly what we’ve been asking Sony for all along. Featuring a 4.6-inch 720p HD display, Qualcomm S4 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a curve reminiscent of the arch on a woman’s back, it seems Sony may have hit one out of the park in terms of power, and sex appeal. That is, whenever this thang is going to be released.
The Xperia GX just passed through the FCC today meaning its launch is closing in fast. Not much else was revealed other than its global pentaband radios (meaning it can run on both AT&T and T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ networks) but if you feel so inclined, you can check out the filing for yourself via the link below.
this is great new thanks Chris this is a great phone and we will have the option to chose betwen tmobile and att or just keep or current provider.
I cant wait to get this phone!!
Very attractive, however for me it’s the next nexus or nothing!
It is sexy and honestly I am pretty pleased with my ion so far, I test drive every new device for at least a month and the atrix hd and ion seem to be a very close second to the gs3 and one x
don’t be alarmed tho I will be back in the one x tomorrow lol It is by far the stunner.
2 GB please. Also this would make a great base for a Sony Nexus.
Looks like a reverse galaxy nexus. If this has the top end sony display then this phone should be a hit. How is Sony at giving timely updates to os? Asus is great, Samsung is very sluggish, htc middle of the road. Would be nice to have objective data on how well manufacturers do this. Huge deal breaker/maker. Samsung Vibrant was a bad choice for me because they didn’t update the phone past 2.2. Very lame. i had the nexus s bought just 6 months after vibrant came out and I’m awaiting Jelly Bean. I will only buy Google phones unless they can prove that the device will get all updates for 2 years.
