Google AI Pro gets cheaper with new $200 annual plan

0

Good news for anyone using Google’s advanced AI features. Google has quietly rolled out a new annual subscription option for its AI Pro plan. This cuts the price to $200 per year. That’s a welcome change from the $20-per-month setup it launched with.

Previously, subscribing to Google AI Pro meant paying $240 a year with no way to save. The new annual plan, spotted by 9to5Google, effectively gives you two months free if you’re in it for the long term.

The subscription unlocks enhanced AI tools across several Google apps. This includes faster and more capable access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, better writing and brainstorming help in Gmail and Docs, and upgraded support for image and video generation. Google has also teased that Pro users may get early access to future AI features.

The core AI tools in Google Search and other services remain free. But the Pro plan is aimed at users who want deeper integration and higher limits across the board.

At $200 a year, it’s a more budget-friendly option. Especially for those relying on Google’s AI for work, creativity, or productivity. Whether you’re writing emails, drafting documents, or experimenting with AI-generated visuals, the new pricing makes it easier to stick with Pro long term.
