Galaxy Z Flip FE price leaks: Samsung’s cheaper foldable could cost $250 less

0

If the leaks are right, Samsung is finally ready to bring foldables to a wider crowd with the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip FE. The price? It might actually live up to the “FE” name this time.

Galaxy S25 Ultra deal

A new report from Sisa Journal e pegs the Galaxy Z Flip FE price at about 1 million won—roughly $738 after conversion. That’s over $250 less than the regular Galaxy Z Flip 6, which starts at 1.5 million won for the 256GB model. Direct price conversions don’t always tell the full story, but even after adjusting for region, this could be Samsung’s most accessible foldable yet.

And they’ll need that edge. With Motorola’s Razr 2025 already hitting $599, and overall foldable sales slowing, Samsung can’t afford to stick with premium pricing forever.

Specs? They’re still a mystery. But rumor has it the Galaxy Z Flip FE will swap out Qualcomm for an Exynos 2400e chip. It’s not a bad processor—comparable to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3—but Exynos chips typically lag behind on power efficiency and performance. It could put the Galaxy Z Flip FE at a slight disadvantage, but if the price is right, that trade-off might be worth it for more people.

Bottom line: foldables might finally get a little more affordable, at least by Samsung standards.
