Make Way for New Phones from…. Alcatel?

0

Remember Alcatel? The French telecom brand—now owned by Nokia and licensed by TCL—recently announced that it’s making a comeback onto the Android scene with a trio of new handsets. Known as the “V3” series, the upcoming phones will launch in India.

Details are scarce however, although it’s expected that the V3 series will include three devices consisting of the V3 Classic, V3 Pro and V3 Ultra. For those of you too young to remember, Alcatel released several smartphones running on Android (and even Windows Mobile) although it stepped back from the market a while ago.

Alcatel is the latest veteran brand to make a comeback of sorts with new devices, as other manufacturers such as HTC and even Acer have announced new budget handsets within the past couple of years, with the exception of Nokia which currently has no plans to revisit the smartphone market anytime soon.
