Realme Teases More Details about the Upcoming GT 7 Series

Realme’s been busy—in case you missed it, the manufacturer is gearing up for the launch of the upcoming GT 7 series, and it’s teased some new details about the still-unreleased phones. That said though, we finally have an idea of what to expect, at least in terms of battery and performance.

For one, the GT 7 series will be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400e flagship chipset which features a 4nm all-big core design, and Realme even claims that the new phones scored AnTuTu benchmark scores exceeding 2.25 million points under room temperature conditions. Of course how this translates to real-world usage remains to be seen, but the company is seemingly confident of the phone’s capabilities.

Realme says that the GT 7 will also come with enhanced gaming capabilities with the new “GT Boost” feature, which uses frame-by-frame prediction of system-on-chip (SoC) workloads and precise performance allocation at the millisecond level for smoother framerates without any slowdowns.

Additionally, the Realme GT 7 will come with a 7,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging speeds. Realme says that this combination is a significant step forward with regards to mobile battery technology, as high-capacity batteries were often limited to slower charging speeds (typically 80W or less) due to safety concerns. The Realme GT 7 launch is scheduled to take place in Paris on May 27th.
