It’s been a pretty busy time for smartphone launches these past couple of weeks, especially with a ton of new announcements from brands including Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo—this time it’s Honor again, with the new Honor GT Pro. Part of its premium GT range, the phone comes with some formidable specs in addition to a hefty price tag.

Up front is a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display that gets incredibly bright with a peak of 6,000 nits, with a sharp FHD+ resolution and a super-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. It’s perhaps one of the more impressive displays that we’ve seen on a smartphone, and given the GT series’ designation as performance devices it’s certainly nice to see on here.

There’s an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite inside as well, which is paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Powering this entire setup is a beefy 7,200 mAh battery, which can charge up to 90W speeds. For photography, there’s a quad-camera setup composed entirely of 50MP sensors.

Like a lot of other smartphones launched this week, the Honor GT Pro is exclusive to China, and retails for around 500 USD when converted.
