If you own a Pixel Watch 3, then you’ll want to keep an eye on your watch for an upcoming feature scheduled later in March. More specifically, Google recently announced that it’s finally gotten clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the Pixel Watch 3’s “Loss of Pulse Detection” Feature, which will initially roll out for more users worldwide.

As you can probably tell from the name, the feature works by detecting in case a user experiences a loss of pulse, such as from a primary cardiac arrest or respiratory/circulatory failure, poisoning, etc. The Pixel Watch 3 can then contact emergency services in case a user is unresponsive. Google says that the feature is available in 14 countries, and should arrive for users in the US by the end of March.
