Oppo is gearing up to launch its latest foldable smartphone, the Find N5. The company has been actively teasing its design on social media platforms. Now thanks to its latest teaser shared on Oppo’s Instagram, the company has finally revealed the full design of the upcoming Oppo Find N5.
One of the main highlights of the phone is the emphasis on thinness. Previous teaser images showed the Find N5 appearing to be approximately half as thick as an iPhone 16 Pro Max. However, we have to wonder if the Find N5 will be able to steal the crown from the Honor. The Honor Magic V3 is the world’s thinnest foldable at 4.35mm. Whether or not the Find N5 will beat it remains to be seen. However, it looks like it could be a close battle.
The specs of the Oppo Find N5 are unknown at this point in time. However, it’s safe to assume that the handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite. However, other specs like its screen size and cameras are still a mystery, at least for now.
OnePlus Open 2 teaser?
That being said, one thing to note is that the design of the Find N5 could also clue us in to how the OnePlus Open 2 could look like.
OnePlus and Oppo are both subsidiaries of BBK Electronics. Based on the fact that the original OnePlus Open was based on the Oppo Find N3, it stands to reason that the OnePlus Open 2 will share a similar design to the Find N5. In any case, we’re pretty excited to see what the Oppo Find N5 has in store for us beyond this teaser.
Samsung is also expected to launch new foldables later this year. So it looks like they will have some competition on their hands.
