It’s been quite some time now since the launch of Sony’s budget-friendly Xperia 10 V. If you own one, then you might want to check and see if the latest Android 15 update is now available for your device, as noted in Sony’s updated product support page for the phone.
With that in mind, Android 15 for the Xperia 10 V comes with a set of new features including Private Space for added user security and privacy, tweaks to the Wallpaper & Style settings, updates to the Side Sense feature, a new Quick settings panel and pop-up window, and changes to SIM settings. This follows the recent Android 15 upgrade for the Sony Xperia 5 V.
In terms of specs, the phone features a 6.21-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 2520 x 1080 resolution, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, a 5000 mAh battery, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and 3.5mm headphone jack. It also comes with a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8MP telephoto and ultrawide lens, in addition to an 8MP front-facing camera.
The phone was originally launched with Android 13 onboard, and is scheduled to receive security updates for a couple more years.
